If you supply a chart of inches (meters, etc) versus gallons (liters, etc), Centroid can enter this data into the computer directly. We must assume your data  to be correct, and do not attempt to check your work. The price includes pre-entry of the tank identification data.

DRAWING-CALIBRATED: $120 PER TANK DESIGN

If you supply a drawing or sketch of the tank with dimensions, Centroid can generate the inch/gallon chart and enter it into the CompuTank. The price includes pre-entry of the tank identification data.

EXPLANATION OF THE FOLLOWING FORM

Tank Names: for space reasons on the display, it's most convenient if the tank names can be chosen from the list at the bottom of the form. The names are a combination of location and fluid, such as AFT PORT FUEL, though the location can be left off if it is unnecessary (due to a small number of tanks).

Display Mode: the normal display is either gallons or liters, plus percent full. But for tanks where the gallons are not known, or unimportant, percent full can be shown by itself (specify "100%" as the capacity).

Alarms: Alarms are set in percent full; for example, a low alarm might be 10%, and a high alarm 90%. An alarm of 0% means "no alarm". There are two  alarm outputs on the computer. The first is a light on the front panel which flashes when the tank being displayed is at, or past, an alarm level. (This output is also brought to a screw terminal on the back panel to allow a remote light to be connected). The second alarm output is a terminal on the back panel which turns on for the first 10 seconds of any alarm condition. This is suitable for connection to a beeper.

View Angle: The LCD display can be provided with an "eye level top view" or "eye level bottom view". The correct view choice
gives the best contrast in the display.  If your eye will be closer to the top of the display than the bottom, choose "top view"; otherwise choose "bottom view".
